What are self lubricating General Devices Solid Bearing slides?

Sliding Systems offer a wide range of
telescopic slides and as the European Distributor for General Devices we offer
the full range including solid section slides.

These slides are not greased and do not
have ball bearings, making it a slim slide, light weight as well as suitable
for areas where shock and vibration is a factor. Solid bearing slides are available in a variety of options including lock out, detach and pivoting, the latter being often used for a computer keyboard. 

All solid bearing friction slides are
coated with Poxylube which is a dry film lubricant.

The key ingredient is molybdenum disulfide
which is a mineral and suspended in resin coating.

The friction slides are therefore self-lubricating
with the additional benefit of offering a minimum of 24 hours salt spray
resistance under test condition ASTM B-117.
