Description
Ultio slides are sold as singles, so order two units if a pair is required
The 7050 slide is part of the new ULTIO range, designed for enhanced corrosion protection, particularly the rigorous demands for emergency vehicles. ULTIO slides are manufactured from high quality zinc plated C45 steel sections: Cold drawn inner beams with a rolled steel outer beam to allow a narrow space profile, demanded by fire truck manufacturers. Stainless steel grade 304 bearings and cages increase corrosion resistance, without compromising load or torsional rigidity.
The grade of steel profile is important in achieving accurate, strong ball races, which allow a slight pre-load without lateral play between the beams. This quality of movement is usually associated with high end hardened steel slides at substantially higher price points. Load rating at 600mm at full extension is 430kg per extended pair with huge safety margins to allow for vehicular shock & vibration.
Applications for the 7050 slides are military and rescue vehicle drawers, machine guarding, train battery boxes and door systems. Ultio 7050 slide weighs 9kg per metre.
The 7050 slide is tested at 20,000 operational cycles, with the slides spaced 1000mm apart. At 550mm length, with full extension and SWL loading of 420kg, the slides deflect 12mm. Tested to 500kg loading on 1,000 cycles, the deflection increases to 14mm. Deflection is the measurement of drop taken at the full extension of the slides and influences the ease of operational forces to close and open the drawer. At 420kg loading the operational forces are less than 15kg. At 500kg loading this increases to 25-30kg. During both tests, the drawer was stable without any side load movement or damage to the raceways, due to the high grade of steel used in the construction of the beams.
Prices are per single slide. Loadings are given per extended pair. There are two slides per pair. The Ultio 7050 are stocked in all key lengths up to 900mm. For OEM volumes, please allow 8 weeks for delivery unless subscribed to our stock holding programme which facilitates next day supply.

Your customer service is excellent!

This one was a rush job which needed replacement slides quickly. I’ve brought from GSF previously and always had good advice. These new sliders replaced corroded old ones easily. Whole process took 24 hours for 900mm length.
Yes I would recommend highly

6 pairs ordered (650 mm) and delivered for next day as advized. we needed these for a rush job where french competitor slides (RA7) had corroded on the truck. the fastening points are identical and we had no issue lining the sliders up to replace. so far working well!

We ordered two pairs at 550mm and they arrived the next day. The movement is smooth and quiet. This is a well designed product and priced less than we were paying elsewhere. Added features are non corrosive balls.

We previously specified a European product for our trucks and this new slider is a step up from that. The load capacity is higher and the beams have a quality feel about them. The ball fit is superior and ranks up with the expensive hardened rails for glide.
Stainless steel bearings and retainers offer extra corrosion resistance without the need for a full on 304 model. Importantly the ball cages remain where they should be, nice and aligned. we have been experiencing problems with this from other manufacturers in the past.
The slides were delivered after 5 weeks, however I am told that stock will be kept ready for our next call off. Thru out the design process the sales staff and engineers have been knowledgeable and able to assist at every level. We can source the rails directly from Sliding Systems and not a local dealer. This improves communication channels without doubt and we maintain best value.
